Student Opportunities

 

Short-Term Mission Trips

World Changers
Weeklong pre-packaged projects for junior high, senior high, and college students that focus on repair and improvements to low-income housing. Community projects blend construction with other ministries.

PowerPlant
PowerPlant is involves and educates students in church planting and evangelism.  Ministry teams will work with church planters in project cities, with assignments including sports camps, VBS, servant evangelism, and more.

Student Mission Groups
Free resources and connections for self-directed mission trips.  Assists you in planning, researching, and teaming up with mission trip possibilities across North America.

Summer and Semester Missions

Sojourners
Sojourners are high school students who work with missionaries and churches in evangelism and church planting projects in the United States and Canada.

Summer Missionaries 
Collegiate summer missionaries assist local churches, campus ministries and NAMB missionaries with evangelism and church planting.

Innovators 
Innovators are collegiate missionaries who work at a secular job (usually 40 hours a week) while assisting local missionaries (8-10 hours a week) in evangelism and church planting. Supervision and mentoring provided by the place of service.

Semester Missionaries 
Semester missionaries assist local churches, campus ministries and NAMB missionaries with evangelism and church planting.

Challengers provides mission accountability in a way that engages young men to accept their role in missions today, including active involvement as a volunteer. It's not about meeting—it's about being. Challengers helps young men acquire mission skills and opens doors for them to share their faith. Challengers help you men mobilize for Christ and prepare to become active Baptist Men.
